Wincor Inc. deals out keys to greater profits at 2009 VDTA Show Central vac professionals from throughout North America once again descended on Las Vegas for the annual VDTA Show, and the big winners were the many attendees who were present for a special session about TORNADOPOWER® Central Vacuum Maintenance Cloths! Presenter Rob Heater of Wincor Inc. said the information was well-received by those in attendance, among them several dealers who are already selling TORNADOPOWER® Cloths. “At one point in the presentation, I commented that probably 80 to 85 percent of customers that are presented the product will buy it,” said Heater. ”However, to my surprise this comment was widely rejected by the selling dealers in attendance. Instead, they added ‘No, that figure should be more like 90 to 95 percent!’” He added it was great to hear so many successful dealers freely share their experiences and sales strategies for TORNADOPOWER® Cloths. At the conclusion of the session, Amy Priestley of Bob’s Roswell Vacuum said, “Rob does a neat job and TORNADOPOWER® Cloths are great.” When another successful dealer was asked if they learned anything new from the session, they said, “Oh yes, and we took notes!” Meanwhile, at the show, more than 100 dealers stopped by the Wincor booth to talk about TORNADOPOWER® Central Vacuum Maintenance Cloths. Lisa Corwin of Wincor Inc. said the VDTA Show is always a great chance to visit with dealers and gain valuable insights. “Throughout the show we heard from a lot of dealers about how they are using TORNADOPOWER® Central Vacuum Maintenance Cloths to increase profits and build their business,” Corwin said. ”They told us how they like that our product is an easy add-on sale, how it has improved their service call value, and improved their customer’s overall central vac experience. Best of all, many of these dealers reported that they have seen increases in store revenue of as much as 40 percent.” Corwin added, “The interaction we get from this trade show is invaluable, as it helps us to better understand our dealers’ successes and struggles. We take the information gathered at the show and use it to improve our value proposition for Wincor Inc. products and services. Of course, we also love to hear positive comments confirming the fact that this is a great product that both consumers and dealers love.” Corwin said dealers were also excited to learn more about the various marketing programs and materials offered by Wincor Inc. to help promote TORNADOPOWER® Central Vacuum Maintenance Cloths. She said that several dealers seized the opportunity to set up a web-based training session for their staff to learn more about TORNADOPOWER® sales, marketing and product information. Wincor Inc. also congratulates Marisol Fernandez of GT Sew & Vac in Colton, CA, who was the winner of a stand up display and a case of 12 TORNADOPOWER® canisters in the trade show drawing sponsored by Wincor Inc. In closing, Corwin extends a big thanks to the VDTA for everything they do for the central vacuum industry. “As always, this year’s event was a first-class event. Between the show and the magazine, VDTA really has our industry covered,” said Corwin. “It’s hard to believe that it was just three short years ago that we introduced TORNADOPOWER® Central Vacuum Maintenance Cloths on the cover of the VDTA magazine, and now it is a staple product for many of the dealers and consumers in our industry. Thanks to the VDTA and central vac dealers everywhere for helping make this happen!” To order TORNADOPOWER® Central Vacuum Maintenance Cloths, contact your preferred reseller.
