Original Creative Festival announces 2008 Expos
C.D. Management Acquires PCM Expo
C.D. Management Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of The Original Creative Festival/PCM Expo.
C.D. Management Ltd. is a full service event management company based in Des Moines, IA, with a team of specialists that have more than 27 years of show promotion experience. The company produces the VDTA/SDTA Trade Show held in Las Vegas, NV, and publishes the trade magazines SQE Professional, Floor Care Professional and Central Vac Professional. They also produce the Round Bobbin consumer expos, and publish the quarterly newsletter called Round Bobbin News, as well as this magazine, Quilting NOW. C.D. Management is also in the process of planning two other consumer shows to be announced soon.
For over 22 years the Original Creative Festivals have offered a world-class buyers’ market. Open to the public, the festivals feature the latest traditional sewing and craft equipment and supplies, hand-on classes and hard-to-find gadgets. Organized by the professional staff of PCM Expos, these are the “can’t miss” festivals of the year for sewing, quilting, craft and embroidery enthusiasts. Since the acquisition took place, C.D. Management has been busily preparing for the 2008 Expos. C.D. • July 10-12 at the Saratoga Springs City Center in Saratoga Springs, NY
• August 1-3 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii
• August 14-16 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV
• September 12-14 at the San Mateo Event Center in San Mateo, CA
Each festival features some of the industry’s top legends and up and coming talent, and offer many seminars, workshops, on-going demonstrations, make-it take-it projects, fashion presentations, and quilt exhibits.
