Industry News MQX Founder named to Prestigious Quilt Industry List In the May/June issue of Mark Lipinski’s Quilter’s Home Magazine, Meg Cox, a former Wall Street Journal writer and author of The Quilter’s Catalog, named MQX Founder, Janet-Lee Santeusanio one of the 26 Most Influential People in the Quilting Industry. The list has many industry leaders and true pioneers from all facets of the quilting industry. Others named to this prestigious list are Linda Taylor, Eleanor Burns, Jinny Beyer, Karey Bresenhan, Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson, to name but a few. Santeusanio said, “I am honored and humbled to be held in such high regard. For those of us that work in the trenches, day in and day out, we simply do not think of ourselves this way; so this announcement came as a total surprise. Mary Schilke and I will continue to promote our passion for machine quilting and to offering everyone involved with MQX the best possible convention experience.” Santeusanio resides in Hampton Falls, NH, with her husband, two children, a multitude of quilts and an assortment of pets.
