HoopSisters announces the 2008 Embroidablock of the Month Program

The Embroidablock of the Month program is now available to sewing machine dealers. The 10-month program is designed to bring foot traffic into the dealer’s store to give them multiple demonstration opportunities on their embroidery machines.

This complete program provides the dealer with everything needed to put on a successful program. The program includes a Teacher’s Tip Sheet advising what needs to be done one month prior to the first class, a fabric requirement sheet, a credit card permission form, a marketing flyer and more.

The embroidery files come in five-inch and eight-inch block sizes and are multi-formatted for all machine brands. This is an exclusive program available only to sewing machine dealers until 2010 when it will be semi-retired and then and only then can be sold to a consumer.

Embroidablock of the Month classes will enable quilters to produce perfect quilt blocks in the hoop of an embroidery machine and introduce embroiderers to quilting. The technique is unique, combining embroidery with piecing, quilting and decorative stitching. It is so easy to learn, even people, young or old who have never sewn before are easily hooked.

The quilt designer is Lynda Remmers, a nearly 20 year sewing machine dealer and co-founder of Hoopsisters.

Remmers said, “We are constantly looking for new and different things for our embroidery customers. You can only embroider so many sweatshirts! Our quilters needed a reason to buy an embroidery machine. EmbroidaBlock was born to fill both those needs.”
