The OxyBreeze system does not collect airborne contaminants, it eliminates them. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the A/C coil is a cold and damp breeding ground for germs, bacteria, viruses, mold, mildew, fungi and other biological micro-organisms to reproduce. These contaminants disperse through the air ductwork into the living area, causing many potential health issues to the family. Rated as an FDA Class II Medical Device the OxyBreeze unit easily installs in under 30 minutes, ideally above the A/C coil in the supply air plenum of existing air ducts. The UV light reacts with the patent pending Nanotechnology Photocatalyst so that the humidity and oxygen in the air breaks apart into powerful oxidizing agents called “Hydroxyl Radicals.” These agents constantly disperse into the airstream to seek out, attack and destroy airborne organic particles, odors, gases and VOCs throughout the entire living area to provide superior whole home air purification. The pollutants are turned into water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) through chemical reactions called reduction and oxidation, and so have no adverse effects on children, adults, the elderly or even pets.
