New easy-to-make bra pattern from KWIK•SEW®

KWIK•SEW Pattern Company, Inc. is proud to introduce a classic, new, easy-to-make pattern, #3594 Misses’ Bra that can be custom-made for a perfect fit. This bra pattern was designed using the latest research in anthropometry and movement, as well as the most up-to-date construction techniques. This results in a bra which is actually easier to make than one would think. It also provides the correct fit, support and comfort that can only be obtained from a properly designed and expertly developed custom-made bra.

Pattern #3594 has been extensively developed and tested using the latest industry standards, along with KWIK•SEW’s proprietary construction techniques, providing an easy-to-make pattern with professional results. All of the expert design development, as well as stringent fit and performance tests, was completed at KWIK•SEW’s in-house design studio in Minneapolis, MN. KWIK•SEW’s pattern designers have high levels of expertise, a thorough understanding of fabric properties, and a professional knowledge of the current research in body anthropometry and movement. In addition to CAD modeling and analysis, all KWIK•SEW patterns are tried on real people at numerous stages of product development and extensively tested for comfort and fit.

This classic pattern is easy to make and very user-friendly. The pattern envelope provides detailed information including fabric and notion requirements. And the pattern, itself, includes detailed step-by-step instructions and precise technical illustrations. All one has to do is carefully follow the pattern directions. Even better, the fit may be customized, and the pattern used over and over again.

This timeless bra style features many details, which have been extensively developed for a custom-made look and fit. It offers moderate coverage and provides good lift and support due to the functional design of the seamed cups. The pattern is designed to be sewn with fabrics such as nylon tricot or nylon sheer and lace, as well as power net. The bra cups may be sewn from nylon tricot, or for a fancier look, sewn from lace and nylon sheer. The bra band is made from power net. And like all KWIK•SEW patterns, this pattern has numerous sizes -- a total of 25 -- from 32AA-40 DDD! This classic style bra is very comfortable and has many details for a superior fit including elastic at all outside edges. The adjustable shoulder straps are made from nylon tricot and include convenient strap slides for easy adjustment and a better, more personalized fit. The bra has a sturdy back hook closure; two hooks for sizes 32-36; and three for sizes 38 and 40.
