Industry Products Quality pleated air filters for business growth Dealers will benefit from repeat business & long term customer loyalty OxyBreeze Inc. presents their new line of high end “U.S. made” MERV 12 (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) pleated air filters for residential furnace and air conditioning markets. The MERV 12 rating means the filters have better than 90 percent capture capability of particles that are 3-10 microns in size. They are the highest efficiency offered for in-home filters in accordance with ASHRAE 52-76 specific test guidelines (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers). Based on ASHRAE standards, values above 12 are for industrial, healthcare, or scientific applications and are not recommended for home use. The MERV rating makes it possible to compare filters that are equal in performance. The OxyBreeze pleated filters come in a variety of sizes, each 1” in width to conveniently fit into the existing furnace filter rack in a home. They are also available in special order sizes. The filters are manufactured from a special self-extinguishing blend of synthetic and polyester fiber, which is bonded to a 28 gauge galvanized steel expanded metal support grid with a 95 percent open face for wider capture area. The media and metal combination is bonded tightly to the frame to prevent sagging and eliminates any air bypass. The frame is a special die-cut solid draft board with extra moisture resistance, designed to prevent collapse under extreme humid conditions. Folding the media material into pleats dramatically increases the surface area of the filter to make it a more effective trap for dust, dust mites, pollen, carpet fiber dust, pet dander, bacteria, and many other airborne contaminates that are harmful to the body. Dust filters should be replaced on a regular basis usually every two to three months, giving customers a reason to return to the central vacuum store. With people becoming more health conscious than ever before, more attention is being paid to the types of food we eat, the amount of exercise we get, and the quality of the air we breathe, making indoor air quality a booming market. Upgrading furnace and air conditioning filters to a MERV 12 status is one of the least expensive things home-owners can do to improve their indoor air quality. The OxyBreeze filters offer home-owners an efficient and cost effective first line of defense against allergy and asthma attacks, without the need of expensive bypass systems that may only clean a portion of the air. OxyBreeze President Glenn Davis said, “Dealers can now benefit by building lasting customer relationships through selling OxyBreeze MERV 12 filters, coupled with our superior UV light systems with Photocatalyst. This is a tremendous multi-system approach of defense for trapping and destroying all sizes of airborne contaminants, to provide the best choice for whole home air purification at a very reasonable price.” Since 1974, the founders of OxyBreeze Inc. have focused on a simple goal -- to create a sustained healthy indoor air environment, in the industrial, commercial and residential aspects of our lives -- all the areas where we live, shop, work and play.
