Romi Haan, who started the HAAN Corporation in Korea in 1999, worked with a group of talented engineers and product designers to develop an easy-to-use steam mop that would clean, sanitize, and endure everyday use for years. She created more than a line of innovative steam products. She founded a company synonymous with serious engineering, quality materials and stringent manufacturing standards.

Since introducing HAAN® products to the US in 2007, millions of consumers have added steam to their cleaning routine for a quicker, healthier way to clean. When heated and applied properly, steam kills 99.9% of household germs, bacteria and viruses and easily powers away dirt and grime.

HAAN USA is devoted to product diversification which is going to be a key strategy going forward into 2014. HAAN is introducing a new line of steam cleaners focused solely on the independent dealer network. The new items will offer a value statement that cannot be found in any traditional retail outlet. Our goal is to grow the steam category with a premium brand that is not readily available in the big box stores.

In today's current retail environment it has become increasingly difficult for the smaller retailers to compete every day. HAAN's answer to this is to offer an exclusive sheltered line that you do not have to worry about seeing on the Internet sites or in the Sunday Big Box sales flyers. This line was created specifically with the independent dealer in mind. To help penetrate the market HAAN has a dedicated in-house sales team that will be reaching out to each independent vac and sew shop in the country. They will also be exhibiting at the upcoming 2014 VDTA Show to answer any questions you may have. HAAN has also developed a unique program for independent dealers to help products sell quickly. With tools such as customized point of purchase materials and demo models, HAAN will help drive sales growth for the independent channel.

HAAN's goal is to develop a partnership with the independent dealer base to grow their brand and deliver profits to their dealers.
