Verilux® CleanWave® Sanitizing Bagless Vacuum

The CleanWave Sanitizing Bagless Vacuum is the next wave in clean. This advanced cleaning solution combines UV technology with the powerful suction of a 1400 watt motor and HEPA filtration to significantly reduce viruses, bacteria, certain allergens and even pest eggs such as bed bug, flea and dust mite eggs, while vacuuming. The CleanWave vacuum is laboratory proven to eliminate up to 99.9% of Influenza A, MRSA, and H1N1 in one to five seconds on hard surfaces‡.

As its name implies, the CleanWave offers an eco-friendly bagless design that also provides the benefit of saving consumers time and money purchasing vacuum bags. Powerful suction quickly and efficiently lifts and removes dust, dirt and debris from floors, carpets and rugs into generous 1.5-liter capacity. The bagless canister with a HEPA-12 multi-stage filtration system helps prevent recirculation of pollutants. Variable suction-speed-control slide adjusts desired level of suction to suit energy-saving, loudness, fabric and fiber treatment preferences. The CleanWave also offers four modes of operation: vacuum only, brush roll and vacuum, sanitize and vacuum, and vacuum, brush roll and sanitize simultaneously. A built-in safety feature turns off the sanitizing light when sanitizing power head is held or left stationary for more than five seconds, preventing direct exposure to UV-C light and assuring the vacuum is always safe to operate.

During testing, culture organisms showed a 99.9% reduction in MRSA and a 98.7% reduction of the H1N1 virus on surfaces in 1 second. The H1N1 culture organism showed further reduction of 99.9% after a 5 second exposure.
