Martin R. Valerio
Martin Valerio has devoted over 45 years of service to the sewing machine industry. After serving in the Air Force during WWII, Marty joined the Singer Sewing Machine Company in 1950 as a service technician. He rose swiftly through the ranks, to become store manager, district manager, regional manager and finally national training manager.
During his 15 plus years as training manager for Singer, Marty was instrumental in developing many of the training programs that became the industry standard for sewing machine sales and product knowledge training.
Since joining the New Home Sewing Machine Company in 1985, Marty has used his wealth of knowledge of the sewing machine industry to develop a close working relationship with countless sewing machine dealers across country. Marty has been a respected friend, teacher and adviser to many in the sewing machine industry.
Throughout his career, Marty has devoted a large portion of his efforts to training and dealer development programs. He has shared his vast knowledge and experience with thousands of sewing machine dealers.
One of Marty’s proudest achievements was having the good fortune to help dealers in every state of the nation during his career. Marty’s years of dedication to sewing machine dealers and industry growth have benefitted everyone in the sewing industry.
