Keith E. ThomiKeith E. Thomi has been in the vacuum cleaner industry for 40+ years. It was the Sunbeam Corporation that brought Keith and his family to Texas in September of 1959. In 1963, he joined the Eureka Company Field Sales Force as the southwest regional sales manager. He worked for Eureka until 1979, when he resigned and became a floor care manufacturer representative, with the main two lines being Regina Floor Care and Studley Paper Company’s “Dusto” line of disposable vacuum cleaner bags. In March of 1981, Keith and his wife, Carolyn, and their son, Mark, opened their own shop, AAA Vacuum Cleaner Company in Dallas, TX. The family then bought Broadway Vacuums in Garland, TX, in February of 1985, with their son, Brad.

Keith has been an exceptional mentor and coach to many people, including his two sons who he brought into the business. He has always maintained a professional and positive public image, and he has been dedicated in his work to keeping a high image of the independent vacuum dealer to the buying consumer. Keith has a dynamic personality and has been adept at driving the growth of the vacuum industry forward.

Keith and his family have been active members of Lake Highlands United Methodist Church in Dallas, TX, where he serves on the Finance Committee and Administrative Board and donates products for all the church’s floor care needs.

Keith said he feels great satisfaction and gratification for the 43 years he has spent in the vacuum and floor care industry.
